My son has really gotten into helping the Wise Men! Before he went to bed last night he placed all of them by the little nativity we have in the bathroom.  He said, "we'll see if this is what they are looking for.  If it is they will still be here in the morning!"  But when we awoke the 3 Kings had indeed moved and found their way to our kitchen.  We found them this morning in our "junk" drawer!! *gasp*  I am sure almost every home has one of those right?!  We are unsure if Caspar is climbing in or out of the drawer though! :)  But for some reason as I was looking into the drawer this morning and saw the Wise Men searching through the junk some thoughts entered my mind and and found myself thinking......"Is this how you see my heart, Lord?"  As we are preparing for the birth of our Lord and Savior, as we are truly preparing ourselves for His 2nd coming we have to evaluate our heart.  Do we hold grudges in our heart?  Is their people in our lives that we have not forgiven? Are we at peace with our Lord? So among the Fun of the ADVENTures I pray that each of you are clearing out the clutter and "junk" from your hearts and will be ready to welcome our Lord on Christmas Day!

Day 4— Last night before going to bed my son decided to take the 3 Wise Men and the camel and place them all in different locations of the house to see what would happen in the morning.  They are trying to figure out “who” is moving them around.  So when we awoke this morning my son could not find them before he left for school., my girls at the last moment before we left shouted out there they are!! Way up high and out of sight we find Belthazar next to St. Anthony, Carpar next to Padre Pio and Melchior next to our Blessed Mother.  They are way up high trying to look for the infant Jesus, asking St. Anthony, Padre Pio, and our Blessed Mother for directions , and hiding from Antonio!  I asked my daughters what the camel was doing and they said, he’s drinking the wine!!

This morning we awoke to find the Wise Men in our Christmas stockings.  It took our kiddos a little bit longer to find them and they probably would not have found them if it wasn't for the camel.  They were disappointed that they were not in "their" stocking expect for our youngest Clare's, Melchior was in her stocking.  Balthazar was in my husband's stocking and Caspar was in our Aunt's stocking.  Now the question is were Balthazar, Melchior and Caspar really looking for Baby Jesus in there or were they only trying to stay warm in the cozy stockings?

The three Wise Men were found on our Christmas tree this morning. All three were facing a Holy Family ornament. Since they were not all gathered at the same baby Jesus we knew it was not the one they were looking for. Perhaps they simply needed some time of silent prayer seeking guidance before they continue their search.
